Reclaiming Quiet
Unearth your inherent dignity by exploring the power of quiet in yourself and in your life.
A self-paced online mindfulness course designed to give you everything you need to start and maintain a nourishing, supportive practice so you can release the negative impacts of stress and invite more peace, confidence, and stability into your life.
In a world that is pulling us in so many directions
with endless obligations and distractions, many of us are feeling more disconnected than ever.
This can lead to stress, anxiety, and being overly influenced by others approval or disapproval. It’s normal to be caught up in the whirlwind of outside circumstances, and it can be hard to even recognize we’re on this merry-go-round. Instead of tuning into our own intuition, inner knowing and wisdom, we can get caught up in self-judgment and what we think we’re “supposed to” be doing.
If you’re somebody who is:
Reclaiming Quiet is for you if you are:
Strong & Sensitive
Maybe you’ve been told you’re “too quiet”, shy, or reserved. Or maybe the opposite, “too much”, loud, or over-the-top. Either way, as a strong & sensitive being, you may feel pressure to prove yourself and to show up in ways that aren’t authentic and drain your energy.
Open & Curious
You’ve heard that meditation could be good for you, but you’re so busy that you can’t even imagine taking a second to “do nothing” when there’s always so much to do.
Seasoned & Inspired
Wherever you are on your journey, Reclaiming Quiet is sure to offer a fresh perspective and give you tools you can incorporate into your daily practice of growth and expansion.
What you get
I created Reclaiming Quiet after witnessing so many people struggle with self-acceptance.
There are so many messages that address quiet as something that needs to be changed. However, there is nothing wrong with quiet.
I used to compare myself to others constantly and was miserable. By getting curious and questioning society’s standards and what I perceived as judgments of me (i.e. quiet), and realizing there’s actually nothing inherently wrong with me, I was finally able to make progress and open myself to more possibilities for my life and career. This is about exploring the power and strength of quiet in ourselves and in our lives.
I see so many people challenged by judgment, self-doubt, and how they show up in the world. These simple practices and shifts have had a transformative effect on my life, and I wanted to share these tools with others that have struggled as I have.
I firmly believe that you are worthy, you are whole, and you matter. So many things can get in the way of knowing this core truth. I wanted to create a course that blended my training across disciplines that would empower you to tune into your unique voice, perspective, and presence. I don’t want anyone to feel held back by feelings of shame, unworthiness, or insecurity. Quiet is beautiful. Quiet is strength. Quiet is your birthright.

Inside Reclaiming Quiet, you’ll get…
“You are worth the quiet moment.
You are worth the deeper breath. You are worth the time it takes to slow down, be still and rest.”
-Morgan Harper Nichols
In your self-paced journey, you will go through the following:
Part 1: Respect
“Remember how far you’ve come, not just how far you have to go. You are not where you want to be, but neither are you where you used to be.”
We start our practice by respecting ourselves exactly where we are, as we are.
When we start to practice and create more time and space in our lives, all of our unfinished business can rush to the surface, and it can be frustrating and easy to judge ourselves. This can be especially disappointing when all we want from our practice is some peace and relaxation.
We can feel like we’re doing it wrong. That is why it is so important to start with Respect. We start with this foundation of Respect so that we don’t use our practice as another opportunity to be hard on ourselves. Once and for all we let go of any need to do anything (for a moment) and take nourishing time for ourselves, respecting where we are on our journey with less judgment and more curiosity. With Respect, you can establish a sustainable practice without the burden of guilt, your neverending to-do list, or any other number of distractions. You can accept yourself exactly as you are.
Part 2: Rediscover
“The source of all knowing is in you.” Eckhart Tolle
There is so much we know, but with all of the noise and distractions in our lives, we may have forgotten. It can be easy to dismiss our own inherent wisdom and to instead look to outside sources for direction.
To rediscover means to discover (something forgotten or ignored) again. In Rediscover, we will explore our assumptions and ask ourselves what is really true. By looking at beliefs we might be taking for granted, we will uncover new possibilities. This allows us to show up in our lives in fresh and exciting ways. By developing a broader perspective, we release the negative impacts of stress and rediscover a reservoir of energy, peace, and stability from within.
Part 3: Reclaim
With this foundation of understanding, respect, and rediscovering, we can fully step into our power and Reclaim. To Reclaim is about having choice, agency, and confidence.
By Reclaiming Quiet, we’ve reclaimed our inherent dignity by exploring the power of quiet in ourselves and in our lives. The effort we’ve felt to be anything other than who we are has begun to melt away, and we are ready to experience the beauty of the moment from a place of self-compassion and belonging. By embodying full authentic expression, we develop a presence that can serve us anywhere we go. We can choose to share our presence with others with a sense of safety and ease. Here we reclaim our unshakeable confidence. We know where we’ve been and where we are. We consider where we’re going with newfound clarity, joy, and trust. “Belonging is my nature: Therefore, I belong everywhere and so does everyone else. Including you.” Sebene Selassie.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long is the course?
This is a self-paced course, designed to be completed in five weeks, but you can absolutely take your time with it. You have ongoing access to work at your own pace.
How much time do I need to commit?
The lessons and meditations are short, ranging from 5 to no more than 20-30 minutes. You are encouraged to use this as an opportunity to develop a daily practice if you don’t already have one, which could be as little as 5 minutes a day. It’s entirely up to you.
Do I need any other equipment to participate?
The short answer is no, all you need is your device and an internet connection to access the course. The longer answer is you may like to incorporate items like a candle, blanket, or journal into your practice but these items are optional. For meditation, you can use a cushion if you have one but it’s just as well to use a chair, bed, or couch. The digital Quiet Companion journaling can be used on your device, or simply print the pages, or transfer the reflections to your own journal. There are a couple of simple movement practices where you only need the space the length of a yoga mat. There are also some instances where I ask you to lie on the floor and for this, you would want the support of a yoga mat, rug, or carpet, as opposed to lying directly on a hardwood floor.
Do you have a refund policy?
Of course- If Reclaiming Quiet truly does not support you in exploring the power of quiet in yourself and in your life, simply email me within 14 days of purchase and you’ll receive a refund.
